History of my product

 The product that I have chosen is Cadbury's marvellous creations. The reason that I have chosen this product is because that it's suitable for both adults and children as it has a combination of sweets and chocolate in one. Cadbury's first launched this product in 2013. I think the audience for this product is mainly more younger children as the use of popping candy that's included in the chocolate bar. The packaging is quite bright and colourful which attracts the eye, the use of bright colours is mainly used and aimed towards young children. This chocolate is seen more a luxury chocolate as many people don't tend to have this very often. The packaging for this chocolate was different to how it is now it has more colours on it and an image of the chocolate with the popping candy inside of it. The packaging has a purple and pink colourway with bold font and cursive handwriting that is included also.

At the beginning of the advert, it starts off with Cadbury workers in the factory making the chocolate and adding the sweets and popping candy into their chocolate bar which is then put into a mould. Then shows how the final product looks after it's set. Throughout the whole advert and the workers are on roller skates and someone is talking through a megaphone and seems as it's almost a race to include all the sweets into this chocolate and by adding the sweets they have buckets that are attached to their backs with popping candy and sweets which they then pour it into the milk chocolate. This is very appealing to the audience as it makes you curious and want to buy it. The unique selling point for this is that no other chocolate brands/ companies have included popping candy and sweets into a chocolate bar and brought up two flavours also as most normally only bring out one flavour. 

The ideas that I might use for my campaign to keep the brand consistency is the use of the glass of milk this is because this is what Cadbury are mainly known for and for the infamous quote which is 'there's a glass and a half in everyone'. Another thing that I will include to keep the brand consistency is that showing what's being poured into the chocolate bar and the making of it.
