An advert is something where you can promote a product or a service. 

what is an advertising campaign? 

An advertising campaign is an organized course of action to promote a product or service. 

what different mediums can adverts appear in? 

adverts can appear in mediums such as: 

  • outdoor advertising 
  • digital advertising 
  • broadcast advertising 
  • Tv advertisements 
  • video advertising 

what is the main purpose of an advert? 

The main purpose of an advert is to spread awareness and building the company's image as well as changing belief about a brand. 

A Tv advert that I think is successful is the Snickers Mr Bean Tv advert. The reason why I think it's successful is because it links to both Mr Bean and the snickers chocolate bar also. Mr Bean is commonly known in the younger generation and is very much liked and is especially known for how clumsy he is as a person, and everybody loves him. Due to this snicker used Mr Bean to benefit them in way as this will help widen/expand their target audience. the wider the target audience the more people will likely buy it. Cadbury Caramel: Description of the packaging:  The chocolate Cadbury caramel has a purple and yellow colourway. The top part of the packaging is royal purple, and the bottom half is bright yellow. There's also bold white font on the front of the cover that says dairy milk and cursive purple writing which says caramel.    Slogan: Cadbury caramel has a particular slogan which is that there's a glass and a half in everyone .  previous advert:  The last advert for Cadbury caramel was 16 years ago. This shows that this chocolate has been around for over a decade, and it's still loved by a majority of people.
